Cancer Freeze is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit annual fundraising event held the first Saturday each February in Florala, AL to benefit a person from South Alabama or Northwest Florida who is battling cancer. We started in 2007 and have grown tremendously since then. We have something for all ages the day of event starting at 7am with a Bass Tournament and Pancake Breakfast. 9am kicks off our 5k run/walk, and 11am you can begin tasting and voting for your favorite chili at the chili cook-off. 12 noon starts our water events which consists of skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, or just jumping in the cold waters of Lake Jackson. 1pm starts our live auction/raffle drawing inside the spacious Rodney J. Evans building. We have slides and bounce houses set up for the kids to play on through out the day. There is a car show a couple blocks over that you don’t want to miss. We have multiple food vendors to enjoy as well as many other things, too many to mention!
